About the event
Did you know that curling is the ONLY olympic sport designed to be played with beer? Ok, the Olympians won't be consuming their favourite locally brewed beer ON the ice, but you can bet it is enjoyed before and after! And THAT is why Canadians are amongst some of the best curlers in the world...we understand the connection between curling and beer better than anyone!
On February 24th-25th you get to enjoy that connection first hand once again as we bring you Hub Town's Second Annual Curling BEERspiel!!Â
This is more of a FUNspiel than a bonspiel...our rink and rocks are homemade and imperfect in every way, making it more of a giant game of shuffleboard AND more fun than you can shake a broom at! So don't be afraid...every skill level is welcome! And if that wasn't enough, we're also bringing in some delicious food and live entertainment for you to enjoy on the Saturday night!

BEERspiel Event Dates:Â
- Saturday, February 24th - beerspiel round robin and banquet (with locally catered dinner and live entertainment)
- Sunday, February 25th - beerspiel finalsÂ
Teams:
- Max 16 teamsÂ
- 2 players / team minimum (you can have more team members of course, but only two from one team will be on the ice at a time)
Format:
- Round Robin playÂ
- Single EliminationÂ
- 5 Games GuaranteedÂ
- Maximum of 10 ends / game (and held to a time limit)
Entry Fee: includes your entry fee, welcome beverage and banquet (dinner and live entertainment on Saturday night)

This ticket is for ONE PLAYER in the BEERspiel and includes fees, a welcome beverage, and entry into the banquet on Saturday night to enjoy a locally catered dinner and live entertainment. NOTE: you will need one ticket for each player on your team.
