Father's Day CORNHOLE Tournament

DAD NEEDS YOU to help him win Hub Town's first ever Father's Day CORNHOLE Tournament! 

Sign up your team and join us for a couple hours of beers, (butterbeers for the under 18 kids - yup this is an all-ages event), bean bags, and a whole lot of laughter, as we celebrate the most important men in our lives...our dads!! Oh and Il Forno Vagabondo (pizza truck) will be onsite today too, so if you're hungry, they have you covered!

NOTE: Each TEAM TICKET includes entry into this double-elimination tournament!

Here's how it will work when you join us:

1. There will be THREE TOURNAMENT TIMES to choose from (your team plays in just one tournament, not all three):

 Tournament #1: 12pm - 2pm

 Tournament #2:  3pm -  5pm

 Tournament #3:  6pm - 8pm

2. Each tournament will have EIGHT (8) teams in total.

3. Teams must consist of At Least TWO (2) People but you can have more if needed - you'll just need to rotate them in because only two people per team play per game.

4. Cost to sign up is $25/team and includes entry into the tournament!

5. Each round will consist of one game to 21 

6. Team will have a “toss-off” to determine who goes first. This means, one (1) person from each team throws one bean bag at the hole and closest goes first. 

7. Each game won must be reported to the organizer to determine your next play time...remember, it's double elimination so you're out when you lose twice. Until then, you keep on going!

How to play Cornhole:

1. Two teams of two people, termed partners, will play at one time. Partners will stand at opposite cornhole boxes on the same side, from the perspective of a third person, and face each other, so there is      no advantage given to one team.
2. Each cornhole team will have 4 bags of one color.
3. All 8 cornhole bags begin at one end.
4. A “toss-off” will determine which cornhole team will go first in round one. This is when one person from each team tosses one bean      bag and closest to the hole wins and goes first in play.
5. The team that goes first will begin play by throwing a cornhole bag at the opposite cornhole box.
6. A cornhole player may throw from anywhere behind the front of the cornhole box they are throwing from.
7. Game continues by alternating throws between the two opponent players until all 8 cornhole bags have been thrown.
8. If a cornhole bag hits the ground then bounces up onto the board, that bag will be taken off the playing surface and cannot score.
9. The cornhole game continues until one team reaches 21 or more points (yes you can go over 21 and win).

Scoring:

1. The score will be calculated after all cornhole bags have been thrown for a round.
2. Points shall be given as follows.

• 3 points for a cornhole bag that goes through the hole.
• 1 point for a cornhole bag that is on the playing surface.
• 1 point for a cornhole bag that is hanging into the hole.
• 1 point for a cornhole bag that is hanging off the edge but not touching the ground.
• 0 points for a cornhole bag that is on the playing surface, but also touching the ground.
• 0 points for a cornhole bag that is hanging off the front edge and is resting on a cornhole bag that is on the ground (unless the cornhole bag on the ground can be removed without making the hanging bag fall to the ground, then one point is given).

1. The cornhole team with the highest game score, adds the difference of the two scores to their game score. Example: Team A = 8 points and Team B = 4 points, therefore 8 - 4 = 4 points scored by Team A
2. The cornhole team who wins the game is given honors to throw first in the next game.
